Canberra, Australia – 30 October 2014 – Global digitalization software company Intelledox has today announced it has engaged former Atlassian executive John Bruce-Smith as its chief financial officer.
In this newly-created role, Bruce-Smith will focus on financially managing Intelledox’s growth and preparing the Canberra-based company for further investment.
“Intelledox is a true Australian ICT success story. It has a market-leading product and a demonstrated record of delivering innovative solutions to clients across government, financial services, healthcare and education. I see it poised for growth in the global marketplace especially via its newly developed SaaS offering of mobile-ready business process automation,” he said.
A chartered accountant with over 30 years of global financial management experience, Bruce-Smith held the chief financial officer position at Atlassian Software between 2006 and 2011. During this period, Atlassian grew from $10 million turnover with 50 people in two offices to $110 million turnover with 500 people in six locations.
Intelledox co-founder and CEO Phillip Williamson said that Bruce-Smith’s extensive finance and technology experience was an asset to the company, particularly as it focuses on mobile and SaaS solution delivery.
“John Bruce-Smith’s appointment as chief financial officer comes at an exciting time for Intelledox as we make our SaaS-enabled business process solutions – such as HR on-boarding and corporate travel requests – accessible to both SMEs and enterprise,” he said.
