The Canberra crawlers are heading out this weekend (28th-29th March 2015) to participate in the Oxfam 2015 Trailwalker fundraiser. According to Oxfam, this is the most life changing, team building, foot slogging, friendship forming, group hugging experience...ever!
"Who are the Canberra Crawlers?" you may ask - If this is the first time you have heard the “Crawlers” Name - have a look at the 2014 Canberra Crawlers in their headline promo of the Oxfam Event - Look for team 1013 early on in the video: http://goo.gl/TAE7xo - if you need help to find them look for the salmon tops.
By now you may be wondering why are we so excited about the Canberra Crawlers? That's because our very own Rod Vickers (first from the left) is participating in this fundraiser and has been training for months - all for a noble cause! This year the majority of the funds raised from this event will be going to help with the emergency relief of those most affected by Cyclone Pam.
